Ladies and gentlemen!

It took us sooooo long to finally get this new blog coded, up, and running.  About 2 years!  Unbelievable.  And unbelievable that it's finally done!

First, what happened?  Well, we originally had our blog up on Wordpress.  But it was costing us $25/month in hosting fees.  Second, while the blog posts were getting indexed by search engines... all the traffic was going to the blog, and not to breakdiving.io.  Third, it was taking us so much time to manually review each blog submission, then copy and paste everything into Wordpress.  It wasn't fun, and it wasn't efficient.

All those issues are now solved!

1. The blog is now hosted on heroku, the same platform that hosts our community.  So no extra cost per month (for now).
2. All of the blog posts here will get indexed by search engines... and send people to BreakDiving.io (where the new blog is housed)
3. It's all linked to our database, so we can manage submission directly.  We no longer have to copy and paste content from a form into Wordpress.

Plus... now we can restrict who gets to post a blog post!  Only those members who are certified at Level 1 can share blog posts on our Break Diving Blog!  This helps to keep the quality high, and... encourages members (like you) to become a Level 1 Break Diver!

I am really excited to be able to share this new blog with you, and hope to see many wonderful submissions to be posted here in your name!

Meet you at the top!
No rules. No Excuses. No Regrets.
