1. When and Why Did You Decide to Pursue This Dive At This Level? What was your inspiration and motivation?

I decided to pursue the Novice Level : "Child of God" Dive on Sunday, March 24th at 5:30 p.m.. I was attending a Church service and the content was almost word for word similar to the Break Diver's original motto. I saw the opportunity to use the Village church setting as a tool to pursue this and other future dives. The main reason was that the atmosphere of the Village Church group has lead to feeling a higher calling in my life, and having an environment that has similar values and direction has helped my feel a connection to a higher purpose.

2. How Long Did It Take For You To Accomplish This Dive At This Level From The Day You Decided To Pursue It, And Why Did It Take That Long?

It took me about 4 weeks, one month, to crack open my bible consistently, and to attend one months, 4 weeks of Village Sunday Evening services and to feel a connection with the material being presented in the evening sessions. It took that long to feel the synchronicity of what I viewed was my burgeoning relationship with god, and what I was reading in my own study of the bible. The length of time was necessary to have the experience feel genuine and that I was actually pursuing this "Child of God" dive for the real reasons, and not being disingenuous.

3. What Was The Hardest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

The hardest part of pursuing this dive was to find the right environment that aligned with my current attitude  and values. In this case, it meant attending different Brisbane church groups to find one that genuine felt like I connected with the teachings, attitudes, and orientations.  This is a long winded way of stating an organization that aligned with most, if not all of the Break Diver's Code.  For me, that organization was the Brisbane Village Church Group.

4. What Was The Easiest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

The easiest part of achieving this particular dive level was feeling a sense of genuine motivation to pursue this dive once I felt that the Village Church group aligned with my current values and path as a Break Diver.  The Village Church aligned with all twelve requirements of the Break Diver's  Code.

5. What Is Your Advice For Someone Who Is Pursuing This Dive And Level?

My advice to someone who wants to pursue the "Child of God " Novice level dive is in three parts.

Firstly, shop around to find the best alignment with your values and goals.  A good metric from myself measuring and assessing this is seeing if the organization aligns with the Break Diver's Code.

Secondly, take at least a month to see that the organization environment  and the majority of participants also give you a good vibe.

Thirdly, make certain that the organizations teachings are consistent and align with the Break Diver's Code, and that your desire to pursue this dive is genuine , so as not to waste your time.

6. What Are Some Of The Best Resources You Recommend to Those Pursuing This Dive At This Level, And Why Do You Recommend Them? Please Include Relevant Weblinks, If Applicable.

The best resource I would recommend is a copy of the King James Bible.

The other online resources are the Village Church Group's main website and the Village Group Live streaming website for the Sunday morning services.

Resource 1: Village Church Group Livestreaming website. - This is the link to the Village Church Group Livestreaming website Link.

7. Tell Us A Story Of One Of Your Adventures While Pursuing This Dive (At This Level).

When I started on this " Child of God" dive, I wanted to find an organization that aligned with the values environment that I was looking for.  Using the Break Diver's Code as a metric to help me gauge the organizations atmosphere, environment and consistent values.

I tried at least seven organizations and found the majority of organizations did not align with the Break Diver's code. The biggest red flag was the difference between  Number 5 -I try not to get offended, and Number 8- I brag tastefully.  A number of the organization's individuals were quite militant in that their world view was the best, and would brag insistently, extolling the superiority and virtue of their church.

After trying six church organizations, using the Break Diver's Code as a metric was the best yard stick to measure the worth of an organization as it aligns to my values.  My first visit to the Village Church group, it seemed that the Village group was initially the best match.

I resolved to give it a month to assess that the Village Church Group aligned to the values and expectations of the Break Diver's code.   After the month from March 24th till  April 24th to make sure that the atmosphere and environment was consistent and did not vary.

After the month concluded, I found the Village Church group to have a consistent level of values and teachings, not lazy, encourage people not to give up, always try to help, speak tastefully, are well mannered, are not easily offended, help people and ask for help if needed, are honest and treat everyone consistently with respect.  So, the Village Church Group did consistently align with the Break Diver's code, there for a good match.

I am glad I set standards and did not make a hasty decision,

8. What Evidence Did You Submit to Prove You Met the Requirements for This Dive and Level?

I have provided photos of myself with the the bible that I am using in my exploration of my relationship with God.

9. Will You Be Pursuing The Next Level For This Dive? If Yes, Why? If Not, Why Not?

Yes, I will be pursuing the Level 2 progression of this dive by providing photos of me attending the evening sessions of the Brisbane Village Church organization. This will lead me to continue attending the sessions in the future.  The reason I am attending the Brisbane Village Group because it is the organization whose values align with the Break Diver's Code.

10. What is the Break Diver's Creed?

The initial creed was "No Rules, No excuses, No regrets". The most recent addition is the "Dream Big. Mentor often. Achieve Together."
